Tezgah 1.0.1: your everyday terminal
Open folders with Tezgah from Finder, Explorer or your file manager, and make it the terminal your desktop opens for shell scripts and ssh:// links.
Tezgah 1.0 was built for agents. With 1.0.1 it also works as the terminal you open for everything else.
Added
Open folders with Tezgah
- macOS: right-click a folder in Finder and choose Open With → Tezgah.
- Windows: right-click a folder (or the empty space inside one) in Explorer and choose Open in Tezgah.
- Linux: your file manager’s Open With lists Tezgah.
Make it your default terminal
In Settings → Default terminal:
- On macOS, Tezgah opens shell scripts (
.command,.sh) andssh://links. - On Linux, it becomes GNOME’s terminal and takes
-e/-xcommands like other terminals do. - On Windows, Windows keeps its own default terminal setting, so use Open in Tezgah instead.
Choose what a folder starts
Settings → Opening a folder starts picks Claude or a shell for folders opened from outside Tezgah.
Changed
- A shell with no project now opens in your home folder.
See Settings in the docs for every option.
