SSH sessions

Open a shell on another machine with your own ssh, and drop files to upload them.

An SSH session is a shell on another machine, opened with your own ssh and its config.

Connect

Choose New SSH Session… from the + menu or a project’s right-click menu, then enter either:

  • user@host, or
  • a Host from your ~/.ssh/config.

Keys, agents, jump hosts and everything else in your ssh config work as usual, because Tezgah runs your ssh.

Upload files by dropping them

Drop files onto an SSH session and Tezgah uploads them to the server, then types their remote paths. Handy for giving a remote agent a screenshot.

On macOS, when Tezgah is your default terminal, ssh:// links open in it as SSH sessions.
